Hair texture can be associated with differences in the curve of the follicle beneath the skin. These three simplified illustrations show how they can differ.

The curve varies: the way hair looks above the skin does not reveal the full shape of the follicle.

Does the transplant also concern women?
Yes, it can be considered for some women after a medical evaluation of the cause of hair loss and the donor area. Not every type of hair loss can be addressed with a transplant.
Can tight hairstyles explain hair loss?
Repeated tension on the hair can cause traction alopecia. A consultation allows investigation of the cause and discussion of appropriate care before considering surgery.
How is my hairline prepared?
Your hairline design takes your face, existing hairline, and expectations into account. We discuss it with you before the procedure to agree on a plan suited to your hair.
